The Charlotte, N.C.-based Britax Child Safety Inc. Has received three reports of cuts and scratches and one report of a child placing a broken clip in his mouth. This recall involves Chaperone infant car seats with model numbers E9L95P2, E9L95P3, E9L95P5 and E9L69N9.

A potential safety issue has forced the company to issue an urgent recall. The potential problem affects seats bought between November 3, 2017 and March 22, 2018, reports. Britax claims only a small amount of the seats have the component, but they will be exchanging all DUALFIX bought in this period.
